The Fox Family

The Fox story starts back on the 18 October 1870 at Maitland, NSW. When James Laurence Fox married Elizabeth Anastasia O'Neill. James and Elizabeth had nine children.

1. James Henry born 1872.
2. Ernest Michael born 7 February 1874.
3. Lillian Susan born 11 April 1875. Lily died on the 28 September 1918 at Toowoomba, Queensland.
4. Cicely Sarah born 30 November 1876. Cicely Sarah married Michael Henry Kelly. They had five children.
5. Constance Mary Gertrude born 26 September 1878. Constance married Francis James Callaghan in Cooktown, Queensland. They had nine children. Constance Mary died on the 14 May 1949 in Cairns, Queensland. Francis James died on the 11 July 1940 also at Cairns, Queensland.
6. Ethel Ellen born 7 July 1880. Ethel married George Draney on the 14 pril 1900. They had two children.
7. Elsie May born 30 July 1882. Elsie married William Robert Connell on the 12 July 1919.
8. Arthur Patrick born 12 November 1885.
9. Ivy Florence born 29 January 1888. Ivy married Richard Brindsley Sherdian on the 15 September 1915.

James Laurence died on the 20 June 1908 at Palmerville, Queensland and Elizabeth Anastasia died on the 5 March 1905 also at Palmerville, Queensland.

James Henry married Isabel Wilson on the 31 May 1902 at Rockhampton, Queensland. They had two children.

2. Dorothy Eva born 1907.

James died on the 21 June 1915 at Cooktown, Queensland.

Ernest Michael married Harriet Fitzhenry on the 10 November 1910. No other info is known of this couple.
